The b&b “A Casa dell’Artista” (“The House of the Artist”) hosts it’s guests in a typical Sicilian atmosphere. Paintings and sculptures, made by the owner of the house, give to the rooms and shared halls a touch of creativity and elegance. The breackfast is reach of typical products and reflects the well known Sicilian ospitality All the rooms are comfortable and equiped with nice ant typical furniture. “Trecastagni” , is a quiet beautiful village at the foot of the volcano Etna, whose land around is all vineyards and chestnuts-woods, where you can enjoy a friendly accomodation in a three-stars Bed & Breakfast, named “Case Zuccaro”. A different way to spend your holidays in a picturesque Sicilian village lying between Mount Etna and the Ionian sea. Approval by Azienda Provinciale Soggiorno e Turismo Catania. The house is interestingly situated in the charming village of Trecastagni, which lays on the slopes of Mt. Etna at a height of 600 metres a.s.l. (above the sea level). It has 5 triple rooms double bed and spare bed, which are provided with air conditioning, central heating, tv, with a large balcony. Each private bathroom has a shower or a bathtub. Breakfast is served in a comfortable kitchen and includes tea, coffee, milk, yoghurt, cereals, ham, and some typical Sicilian food like home made jam, cheese, bread. In summer breakfast is served under a beautiful patio next to the garden and the vineyard, where you can have a special view of Mt. Etna. Guests are allowed to stay under the patio, in the garden or visit the vineyard, with many trees, of olive-oil, lemon, orange etc... The reception is well equipped with brochures, leaflets and maps. Pets are welcome. It is situated in a strategic crossing point, because in a few minutes you can reach both the Etna mountain and the seaside, let alone the most famous tourist resorts in eastern Sicily. It is also possible to visit mount Etna and its surrounding park and to follow the different naturalistic, volcanic and religious routes, according to one's own tastes.

Very close by the house there are tennis courts, football and volleyball pitches.

   Moreover, in a few minutes, you get to
   the Madonna of TreMonti Church, that
  dates back to the XVIII century: here, in
  summer, the priest celebrates the mass in
  the garden under a millenary oak.
  During the patron saint's festival, Saint
  Alfio, at the beginning of May, you can  
  walk to the centre of the village or you
 can see the spectacular and very famous
  fireworks while sitting in the house.
